Modern MLD Certification

(3days, 30 CE hrs, 8am-7pm)

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) therapy is rapidly evolving. This course enables Certified Lymphedema Therapists (CLTs) and lymphedema clinicians to stay current with new hand techniques and technologies that are shaping lymphedema treatment today . This course was developed by CLTs with broad backgrounds in traditional MLD approaches, including Vodder, Foldi, Leduc, and Casley-Smith. ILWTI has blended these approaches with new understandings from ICG fluoroscopy of the lymphatics, and has integrated new “Standard Touch” technology into the program. Approaching CDT from a physical rehabilitation perspective, ILWTI teaches an effective mapping and MLD delivery system that is simple and adaptable to any type of patient. ILWTI offers state of the art education that equips you with a variety of tools that can be immediately applied for the effective management of complex patients with multi-factorial edemas.
