Venous Leg Ulcer & Phlebolymphedema Management

(1 Day, 8 CE hrs, 8am-5pm)

Venous Leg Ulcers (VLUs) are the most common ulceration on the lower extremity and account for 70% of all leg ulcers, and phlebolymphedema is emerging as the #1 cause of secondary lymphedema in the USA. This course combines informative, didactic education and practical, hands-on workshops to equip you with the tools needed to treat venous leg ulcers and phlebolymphedema. An integrated approach to topical wound care, venous procedures, compression therapy and manual therapy are presented, with practical tips that can be immediately applied in your practice. An optional Wound Debridement Certificate can be added on to this course that includes evening workshops (6-8:30pm) for a variety of debridement skills, including conservative sharp debridement and even maggot debridement therapy!
