Debra Fox

Dr. Fox is a licensed Physical Therapist with over 24 years experience. Her primary focus of practice has been in the LTACH and Long Term Care settings specifically surrounding the geriatric population. She is a Board Certified Wound Specialist through the American Board of Wound Management and is certified in the management of Lymphedema through the Lymphology Association of North America.
Dr. Fox has been teaching wound care as adjunct faculty for the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at St. Petersburg College for the past 10 years and is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. She is active as a Clinical Specialist managing numerous long-­term care facilities where she performs wound rounds and education in wound care and dressing supplies. She is responsible for providing basic to advanced wound care education, often at the bedside, but frequently as a staff educational in-service.
Dr. Fox received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.
